The Penelope Gandhi Mission at the Victoria & Albert Museum in London

The Mission Coordinator, Varvara Terzakis-Pallikaris, visited, upon special invitation, the Victoria and Albert Museum in Lon Penelope Gandhi, on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, as well as the Clothworkers’ Centre, which specializes in the study and preservation of an exceptional collection of textiles from all over the world.

The guided tour of the Museum was given by Mrs. Suzzane Smith, director of the Clothworkers’ Centre, while a wealth of historical Cretan textiles that adorn this unique collection were recorded.

The Victoria and Albert Museum will collaborate with the Penelope Gandhi Mission and for this reason will visit Crete in the coming months.
