The Penelope Gandhi Mission to Alexander of Lefkada

The Penelope Gandhi Mission and the University of the Mountains, following an official invitation from the organizers, participated in the events of the 5th meeting in Alexandros, Lefkada, which took place from 27 to 29 June 2014, with the central theme being the Sacred Art of Weaving and the effort to revive it in Lefkada.

The event was addressed by Mrs. Varvara Terzaki-Pallikari, inspirer of the Mission, Mrs. Louisa Karapidaki from the Academy of Athens, Mr. M. Kolioradakis and Mrs. K. Karampas, representatives of the University of Crete’s Faculty of Medicine, as well as Mr. N. Nikolakakis, psychiatrist, member of the University of the Mountains.
