The Minister of Health and the Minister of Education of Syria today awarded the medal of the Syrian Academy to Professor Ioannis Pallikaris, for his contribution to World Ophthalmology.

The award was given as part of the work of the “Academia – The Global Eye Forum” conference, which is taking place in Damascus, Syria, from November 20-21, 2025.
