University of the Mountains Excursion to the Municipality of Amari, Rethymno

Dear fellow travelers,

Christ is Risen and have a good month!

The next excursion of the University of the Mountains will take place in the Municipality of Amari, Rethymno, on Friday, May 23, 2025, with the following activities:

-Peer-tutoring of students at Fourfoura High School,
-Medical examinations by medical professors with their teams, in the villages of Platania and Vistagi, Amari, to vulnerable groups of the local population,
-Café of the Mountains in Platania, Amari, with topics related to self-sufficiency, handicrafts, the Sacred Art of Weaving, nutrition, family, hypertourism and the development of an endogenous, autonomous household economy.
