PtO excursion to the Municipality of Amari – Friday 7 Oct. 2022

Dear fellow travelers,

The University of the Mountains, resuming its excursions to the mountainous areas after the pandemic, will hold its next event in the Municipality of Amari, Rethymno, on Friday, October 7, 2022, where the following will take place:

• Peer tutoring of students and collection of the cotton we have sown at the Agia Fotini High School, with the participation of students from the School of European Education of Heraklion,
• Medical examinations by medical professors with their teams, in the village of Pantanassa, to vulnerable groups of the local population,
• Mountain Cafe in the villages of Pantanassa, with topics related to self-sufficiency, the Sacred Art of Weaving of Crete and the development of an endogenous, autonomous household economy.
