British School at Athens – Knossos Research Center – Cotton sowing

The University of the Mountains ( www.panoreon.gr ) with the team of the Penelope Gandhi Mission, the Hellenic Mediterranean University, the Primary School of Houdetsi and the Knossos Research Centre, sowed cotton seeds in the garden of the Knossos Research Centre of the British School at Athens ( https://www.bsa.ac.uk/about- us/knossos-research-centre/ ), with the aim of creating handmade yarn which will then be woven following traditional weaving techniques.
This educational-cultural action aims to promote education and to document, exploit, preserve and disseminate the moral value and wealth of Weaving.
