Ceremony of Reciprocity and Solidarity of Flax

On Saturday, June 21, 2014, at 5:00 in the morning, before the sun rises, on the longest day of the year, the Penelope Gandhi Mission team, wearing Cretan woven clothing, will meet at the Kalesa of Heraklion.

The purpose of the meeting is to celebrate the sacred flax harvest festival – a ceremony of Reciprocity and Solidarity.
