Economies of the Mountains

All actions, missions and excursions of the University of the Mountains are completely voluntary, are not funded by any national, community or private resources and are supported only by its select volunteer members, with the sole criterion of Solidarity, Inspiration and Creation.

  • The change in welfare patterns,
  • Redefining human happiness with human indicators and not with income data,
  • Symbiotic teaching with mutual teaching as a tool for connecting experience with science,
  • The protection of the human and natural environment,
  • The rejection of overconsumerism and extreme individualism,
  • Sustainable development by recovering lost human relationships and the cultural identity of small societies
  • Strengthening the traditional economy with modern management tools,
  • The removal of dependence on the economy of loans and subsidies and the elimination of delinquency.
  • The development of the small-scale – high-value economy.
