Excursion of the University of the Mountains to the 1st Special Primary School of Rethymno

The team of volunteer ophthalmologists of the University of the Mountains, led by Associate Professor I. Pallikaris and Professor E. Detorakis, visited the 1st Special Primary School of Rethymno on Friday, Dec. 13, 2024 and examined the school’s students.
The following medical researchers participated in the examinations: Mr. A. Plaka, Mr. K. Kitsos-Kalyviannakis, Mr. E. Protogeros and Mr. E. Alygizakis.
We warmly thank the school principal, Mrs. A. Pastourmatzi, as well as all the school teachers for their excellent hospitality.
The great work they do and their love for all the children at the school are worthy of admiration and gratitude.
