All actions, missions and excursions of the University of the Mountains are voluntary.
They are not funded by state or European funds.
They rely solely on the strengths of people who believe in their vision:
the solidarity, love and knowledge that is shared.
How to use each offer
Funding of peer-to-peer teaching activities in schools, creation of educational material and experiential workshops.
Coverage of medical mission expenses, telemedicine equipment and support for vulnerable groups in mountainous areas.
Preservation and promotion of traditional arts, such as weaving, and organization of exhibitions and events in Greece and abroad.
Recording oral testimonies, documenting local knowledge and publishing scientific studies that highlight the project.
