After the harvest of Flax, which we sowed in the fall of 2021, with the students of Kindergartens, Primary and High Schools of Crete, the time has come to thank the blessed earth, the sun and the universe, for the fruit and the thread.
Obeying the seasons, respecting the winds and being initiated into the beneficial power of faith and perseverance.
A study in the sun, in the seed and in the rhizome.
We cultivate the land for ourselves, for the children, for those to come, but also for the land itself.
Let us pray for the sustainability of the place, for production, without question of cost and efficiency.
On Tuesday, June 21, 2022, the day of the summer solstice, we will meet at Psiloritis, at the headquarters of the University of the Mountains, in Krana, Rethymno, with the teachers and students of the schools, for the ceremony.
