University of the Mountains – Excursion to the Municipality of Ierapetra, Lassithi

The next excursion of the University of the Mountains will take place in the Municipality of Ierapetra, Lassithi, on Friday, October 31, 2025, with the following activities:

-Flax sowing and peer tutoring of students at the 5th Primary School of Ierapetra with the participation of students from the Primary School of Kalamafka.
-Medical examinations by medical teachers with their teams, in Kalamafka, to vulnerable groups of the local population,
-Café of the Mountains in Kalamafka, with topics related to self-sufficiency, handicrafts, the Sacred Art of Weaving, nutrition, hypertourism and the development of an endogenous, autonomous household economy.
